The hotel had a versatile lounge for relaxing, and the banquet set-up was great for my 220 friends. The Sunday brunch was a steal at CHF 59, and the sauna felt like a two-day holiday!

The staff's slow and unfriendly service really added to my luxurious experience.

Coffee/tea makers and a fridge in the room were nice. Near to the downtown, 10 minutes on foot...

I recently stayed at Banana City in Winterthur for the second time. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, always promptly providing whatever we needed. The rooms and bathrooms were spotlessly clean, and I especially appreciated the welcoming bowl of fruits. The hotel's rooftop terrace offered a delightful dining experience, although it was a bit pricey. Luckily, we had amazing weather during our stay. The location was great, with just a short walk to the train station and main shopping area. And I must mention the free parking in front of the building, although there is also a chargeable parking house available if needed.

It's a four star hotel all rooms should have air conditioning, my room didn't and the night was stuffy so I open the window to let cool air in and then can't sleep because the trains go past.

The room was incredibly spacious, which is a rare find in Swiss hotels. The staff were extremely kind and friendly, going above and beyond to accommodate our needs. The Halloween gala party was a blast. The hotel itself was clean and modern, with comfortable beds and a lovely bathroom. The breakfast was excellent. The location was perfect, just a short walk from the train station and main shopping area. The rooftop terrace dinner, although a bit expensive, was absolutely delightful, especially with the great weather. This was my second time staying here, and I highly recommend it for anyone traveling by car.

The wifi was effective all week in the room, bar, Restaurant and reception. Food was good. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Once I had already booked in Booked.net and I had asked for a quiet room, I have been informed buy the hotel that I had booked a room that faced the railways. If I wanted a quite one, I had to pay more. So, I couldn't take back my reservation and was forced to pay a lot to have qhat I consider a normal service (acoustic insulation)

From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed with a refreshing welcome drink. The spacious room was beautifully arranged and perfect for our family of four. The breakfast included a wide variety of delicious options, from fresh juices to a variety of breads and cold meats. The hotel also offers fantastic amenities like a spa and wellness center, where we enjoyed relaxing in the sauna and jacuzzi. The location was ideal, right beside the train station, making it easy for us to explore the surrounding area. We highly recommend this hotel to everyone.

This place is a must-visit for anyone looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay.

The hotel is placed exactly ON a multi-track (more than 10) rail line, from which a train (min.) is passing every 1-2 minutes!..... Unless you pay ca. 50% more for getting a room to the opposite side of the building, you are practically "hugging" passing trains..... Combined with the lack of A/C in all rooms, it creates during summer nights a condition of total no sleep!.....

The polite staff gave us a warm welcome with a complimentary drink. The spacious room was perfect for me and my family. Breakfast was included and had an array of fresh food. We received a rose on Valentine's Day, which was a kind gesture.
